Prior to joining Triangle, Mr. Shank attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a B.A. degree in Political Science. While at Chapel Hill, Mr. Shank served as president of Reformed University Fellowship. During his college years, Mr. Shank also completed a summer program at the WHU-Otto-Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar, Germany and spent three months as a volunteer English tutor in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Mr. Graves joined Triangle Capital Corporation in 2007 and works as part of the deal team in structuring, underwriting, and executing new investments. He also performs various portfolio monitoring and valuation roles.

Prior to joining Triangle, Mr. Graves worked as a staff accountant in Ernst & Young’s Business Risk Services group where he served a variety of publicly traded clients in identifying and mitigating process and entity level financial reporting risks. Mr. Graves holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mr. Young joined Triangle Capital Corporation in 2010 as a Vice President. He has significant principal investing and transactional experience across asset categories. His industry experience includes real estate, information technology and healthcare.

Prior to joining TCAP, he was a Principal with Oaklane Capital, a real estate private equity fund based in Charlotte, NC. Prior to that, Mr. Young was Executive Vice President of Capital Markets for Southern Land Company, a development company based in Nashville, TN with over $1 billion in assets under management or development. Mr. Young also served as Vice President at Cherokee Investment Partners, a real estate private equity fund based in Raleigh, NC with approximately $2 billion in assets under management. Prior to Cherokee, he served as the Chief Strategic Officer of AwayMed, a healthcare information technology firm based in Raleigh, NC. He began his career as an Associate Director with The Advisory Board Company, a healthcare research and consulting firm based in Washington, DC.

He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a BA with distinction in Political Science. Additionally, he earned a JD and an MBA from the University of Virginia. Mr. Young is a member of the North Carolina Bar and is active in his local community serving on the board of several non-profit organizations.

Sheri Colquitt is vice president and director of treasury management, investor relations, business development, and human resources. Ms. Colquitt joined Triangle Securities in 2000 where she was involved with a wide variety of transactions including private placement offerings, mergers and acquisitions, management-led buyouts, and fairness opinions. In 2002, the investment banking division of Triangle Securities became Triangle Capital Partners, and later formed Triangle Mezzanine Fund LLLP, the predecessors to Triangle Capital Corporation. Prior to joining Triangle, Ms. Colquitt served as vice president of human resources for First Travelcorp, Inc., the largest investor owned travel company in the Southeast, from 1990 – 2000.

Prior to joining Triangle, Mr. Burke was an Associate with Key Principal Partners, a $1B private equity and mezzanine firm, where he was responsible for actively sourcing, evaluating, and structuring junior capital investment opportunities across a broad range of industries. Prior to KPP, Mr. Burke was an Associate with Cross Atlantic Capital Partners, a $500M venture capital firm focused on early to mid-stage technology investing. Mr. Burke began his career as a consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in the Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment group.

Mr. Burke received his M.B.A., with honors, from the Wharton School and a B.S. in Systems Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Virginia.

Mr. Knox joined Triangle Capital Corporation in 2007. Prior to joining Triangle, Mr. Knox was Director of External Reporting for Tekelec, a publicly traded global provider of telecommunications network systems and software applications. Prior to Tekelec, Mr. Knox spent four and a half years as Director of Internal Audit for SpectraSite, Inc., which prior to its sale in August 2005, was the third largest publicly traded independent wireless tower company in the United States. Mr. Knox began his career in the Assurance and Advisory Services Group of Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he spent seven and a half years serving both public and private companies.

Mr. Knox is a graduate of Wake Forest University and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina.

Cary Nordan joined Triangle in 2004 and is responsible for all aspects of transaction sourcing, structuring, underwriting and deal execution. In addition, Mr. Nordan is responsible for various aspects of valuation and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Triangle, Mr. Nordan served as Vice President with BB&T Asset Management (BB&T Funds), a $14 billion mutual fund complex. He was responsible for research, valuation and portfolio management with a specific focus on small-cap equities. Preceding his employment with BB&T Asset Management, he worked in corporate finance with Stanford Keene, Inc., an investment bank specializing in the technology industry, and Nuance Capital Group, LLC, an advisory firm to private companies. Prior to that, Mr. Nordan served as an Analyst and Associate in the corporate finance group of Trident Securities, a subsidiary of McDonald Investments, where he specialized in investment banking and advisory services to lower- and middle-market financial institutions throughout the Unites States.

Mr. Nordan has over 10 years of experience investing in private equity transactions and public equity securities as well as corporate finance transactions including IPOs, M&As, senior and subordinated debt placements, recapitalizations, and restructurings. He holds a BSBA, magna cum laude, from Appalachian State University and an MBA from Duke University. Mr. Nordan is a CFA charterholder and former member of the Board of Directors for the CFA North Carolina Society.

Mr. Parker co-founded Triangle Capital Corporation’s predecessor companies, Triangle Capital Partners, LLC and Triangle Mezzanine Fund LLLP in 2002 and 2003 respectively. Prior to co-founding Triangle, Mr. Parker was a partner in Crimson Capital Company, a Greensboro, North Carolina private investment banking firm that specialized in management buyouts of middle market companies in a variety of industries. Before joining Crimson, he was Vice-President and Treasurer at Marion Laboratories, Inc., a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company, where he was responsible for Marion’s public and private financings, venture capital investments, divestitures, and investor communications. Before working at Marion Laboratories, he worked six years as Vice-President and Director of Private Placements at J. Henry Schroder Corp, a position that followed three years at Kidder, Peabody & Co., on its private placement desk. Mr. Parker began his career in 1971 at Shearson, Hammill & Co. in New York.

Mr. Parker is a graduate of North Carolina State University and Harvard Business School. He has served as the founding chairman of the Graduate School Board of Advisors at NC State, where he was also vice chairman of the Board of Visitors. He currently serves on the Board of the NC State Investment Fund.

Doug Vaughn joined Triangle in 2008 as a Managing Director. Mr. Vaughn has extensive management experience operating businesses and has served in investment and advisory roles for middle market companies, portfolio businesses, and divisions of large multinational corporations.

Prior to joining TCAP, Mr. Vaughn was President and a Director of VIETRI, Inc., America’s largest importer, distributor and marketer of handmade Italian ceramic and home décor items. Immediately prior to his eight years at VIETRI, Inc., Mr. Vaughn advised business owners and managers, including private equity funds, on strategic initiatives including acquisitions and corporate finance — first as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and later as a Partner at Chatham Partners. While with Deloitte, he also led an internal acquisition effort for the firm. Prior to his time in management consulting and investment banking, Vaughn served in management roles for Sara Lee Corporation, specifically for Sara Lee Personal Products Europe, where he was an original member of the team that established and managed the company’s first division in Eastern Europe including manufacturing, distribution, marketing, and sales operations.

Mr. Dombcik joined Triangle Capital Corporation in 2007 as a managing director. Prior to joining TCAP, Mr. Dombcik was a managing director and co-founder of South FranklinStreet Partners, a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) focused on providing junior capital to middle market companies. Prior to co-founding South Franklin Street Partners, Mr. Dombcik served as Executive Vice President and Partner of Edgewater Capital Partners, L.P., a private equity investment firm focused on the acquisition of middle market companies. Mr. Dombcik also served as a senior vice president of investment banking for McDonald Investments, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Key Corp) and vice president of Brown, Gibbons, Lang & Company L.P., a middle market investment bank with offices in Chicago and Cleveland. Mr. Dombcik began his career as a commercial banking officer with Bank One.

Mr. Dombcik has over 15 years of experience in a variety of corporate finance transactions including initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, preferred stock underwritings, senior and subordinated debt placements, recapitalizations, leveraged ESOPs and restructurings. Frances Blanton, a native of Raleigh, NC, joined Triangle Capital Corporation in August 2008. Ms. Blanton is a graduate of Appalachian State University where she majored in Organizational Communication. While at Appalachian, Ms. Blanton was a four year scholarship player on the ASU Women’s Tennis Team and was named to the Southern Conference All Academic Team and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All Academic Team. Ms. Blanton served on the ASU Athletic Advisory Board, volunteered for Make a Wish Foundation and was a member of Chi Omega sorority.

Mr. Lilly has been working closely with private equity investors for the majority of his career. Prior to joining Triangle in December, 2005, Mr. Lilly spent six and a half years with SpectraSite, Inc., which prior to its sale in August, 2005, was the third largest independent wireless tower company in the United States. Prior to that Mr. Lilly was in the Media & Communications Group with First Union Capital Markets (now Wachovia Securities).

At SpectraSite Mr. Lilly served as Senior Vice President-Finance & Treasurer as well as Interim Chief Financial Officer, prior to the company’s sale to American Tower Corporation in a $4 billion transaction. During his time at SpectraSite, the company grew from a start-up entity to an investment grade company with over $400 million in annual revenue. From 1999 to 2005 Mr. Lilly was directly responsible for raising approximately $5.2 billion of capital in numerous private and public equity and debt financings, including over $1.7 billion in a successful initial public offering and four successful secondary public equity offerings, approximately $1.2 billion in multiple high yield bond transactions, and over $2 billion in syndicated senior debt transactions.

At First Union Mr. Lilly served as Vice President where he specialized in arranging financings for high growth, sponsor driven companies across the media and telecommunications sector. During his time at First Union, Mr. Lilly arranged over $3.5 billion in financings for companies in the following industries: wireless communications, wireless towers, wireline communications, radio & television broadcasters, publishers, cable television providers, and internet service providers.

Mr. Lilly is a graduate of Davidson College and has completed the executive education program at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business. Mr. Lilly’s civic activities include serving on the Board of Directors of the Wake County Boys & Girls Club and the Board of Directors of the Methodist Home for Children. Mr. Burgess was a co-founder of Triangle Mezzanine Fund LLLP in 2003. Prior to joining Triangle, Mr. Burgess spent five years as Vice President of Oberlin Capital, a mezzanine SBIC fund focused on making debt and equity investments in the lower middle market. While at Oberlin, Mr. Burgess was responsible for all aspects of the investment process and served as the lead partner on multiple transactions. Prior to Oberlin, Mr. Burgess was an Associate at Cherokee International Management, a Raleigh based private equity fund. While at Cherokee, Mr. Burgess focused on evaluating and structuring private investment opportunities in the emerging economies of Eastern Europe. Mr. Burgess’ involvement in the private equity industry includes serving on the board of governors of the National Association of SBICs where he formerly served as the president of this organization’s Southern region. His involvement in community activities includes serving on the board of the International Affairs Council in Raleigh, NC. Mr. Tucker co-founded Triangle Capital Corporation’s predecessor companies, Triangle Capital Partners, LLC and Triangle Mezzanine Fund LLLP in 2002 and 2003 respectively. Prior to co-founding Triangle, Mr. Tucker and an outside investor group sold First Travelcorp, a corporate travel services company that he and the investors founded in 1991. For the two years preceding the founding of First Travelcorp, Mr. Tucker served as Group Vice President, Chemical Bank, New York, with responsibility for southeastern corporate finance. Prior to Chemical Bank, Mr. Tucker spent a decade with Carolina Securities Corporation, serving as President and Chief Executive Officer until 1988. During his tenure, Carolina Securities Corporation was a member of the New York Stock Exchange, and Mr. Tucker served a term as President of the Mid-Atlantic Securities Industry Association. He entered the securities business in 1975 with Investment Corporation of Virginia. Mr. Tucker is a graduate of Washington & Lee University and Harvard Business School.
